Toddlers vs. Vaccines: AAP’s Under 2 Mandatory Party

In a bold move that's sure to turn every toddler's playdate into a medical info session, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended that children under age 2 get vaccinated. According to the AAP, which sounds like they have the diaper situation well-covered, 'immunizations before age 2 are essential for protecting young children.' It seems the era of chuckles mixed with chicken pox scars is behind us—because prevention is the new playdate. Parents everywhere can rejoice! Or nervously schedule that next doc visit with a milk bottle in one hand and a consent form in the other.
