Spider-Man’s Spidey Tracker App Finds Himself Lost in Space; No Signal Since 2026

KEY POINTS

  • Ned Leeds, an MIT graduate in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day,' creates the Spidey Tracker app mapping Spider-Man sightings in New York City.
  • Due to a memory wipe from 'No Way Home' (2021), no one except Spidey fans remembers Peter Parker is Spider-Man, including best friends Ned and MJ.
  • The end-credits scene reveals the app detects Spider-Man sightings beyond Earth, hinting at space adventures and possible appearances in future MCU movies.

In 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' (2026), Ned Leeds, star MIT grad and tech bro, creates an app called 'Spidey Tracker' to map Spider-Man sightings across New York City—because apparently, a masked vigilante’s whereabouts are a civic utility now. Spoiler: No one remembers Peter Parker is Spider-Man thanks to 2021’s memory wipe, not even his BFFs Ned and MJ (Zendaya kills it as usual). The end-credits scene upgrades this neighborhood watch app into cosmic surveillance, zooming out past NYC then through an 8-bit moon to reveal a Spidey mask floating somewhere in space, raising the MCU’s 'Wait, does he spacewalk or glitch?' stakes. Jon Bernthal’s Punisher stalking his friend through the app adds a touch of murderous surveillance chic. Despite Tom Holland’s name not appearing on the massive December 18th 'Avengers: Doomsday' cast list, fans bet their webs on him swinging into the 2027 'Avengers: Secret Wars,' where Peter Parker variants duke it out in Battleworld for supremacy. Holland, age 30, teased a ‘clear vision’ for his exit from Spidey life, which is probably less Spider-Man retirement and more multiverse reality show elimination round. The 'Brand New Day' flick is live in theaters if you want to see NYC's finest teen techie track a web-slinger through dimensions — or space — with UI suckier than Windows 98.
