Yet, like moths to well-branded flames, these same doctors stubbornly cling to the 'value' of the meetings. This paradox emerged from a recent analysis that neither named a single doc nor pharma exec but clearly hinted at the ancient tradition of handing out steak dinners disguised as 'educational seminars.' Apparently, trust is the patient here, and pharmaâs hospitality the IV dripâboth critical to keeping this ethically dubious party alive.
