The center, shockingly rebranded the 'Trump Kennedy Center' after a December board vote, will be run next by Matt Floca, a sustainability dude turned Trump's favorite paint-color-and-marble consultant. Trump, who calls Floca personally to debate seating, paint, and possibly the exact shade of marble glitter, plans grand reopenings to āsurpass anything beforeāāall paid by a congressionally approved $257 million. Meanwhile, Rep. Joyce Beatty sues to stop the closure, because nothing says democracy like suing your arts center before a single brushstroke.
