Trump Declares Inflation 'LOW' While Prices Do Mutiny

In a shocking turn of events, President Trump proudly tweeted 'Consumer Prices LOW' as tariffs threaten to inflate costs nationwide. Treasury Secretary Bessent proclaimed 'inflation propagandists have been proven wrong,' even while economists warn prices rose 2.7% in June and expect more hikes, saying 'by the end of August... those who said tariffs would increase prices were right.' Businesses remain stuck between tariff uncertainty and the looming prospect of passing higher prices to consumers, proving once again that economics is just an elaborate game of "wait and see who pays."
