Russ Vought: Trump’s Grim Reaper Of Government Shutdowns
Photo by Boris Busorgin on Unsplash
Russ Vought, the man who climbed from Phil Gramm’s mail room in Trumbull, Connecticut, to becoming the Office of Management and Budget’s grim reaper, stars in Trump’s AI apocalypse video set to Blue Öyster Cult's '(Don’t Fear) The Reaper.' His résumé includes freezing $214 million to kickstart Trump's 2019 impeachment, coining 'woke and weaponized' as the GOP’s new catchphrase, and plotting to axe entire agencies like USAID and the CFPB to fund his $9 trillion budget slashing gymnastic. When not ghosting interviews, he writes 350 executive orders so Trump doesn't waste energy arguing if they're legal or moral. Official shadow president material.
