Jahnavi Shah from San Francisco applied to over 500 jobs before landing a role after initially being rejected by Persona. She connected with a recruiter on LinkedIn, proving that 'staying on the radar' can turn a 'no' into a future 'yes.' Bonnie Dilber from Zapier backs this up, saying companies often hire from 'existing candidate pools,' treating rejections like a weird, slow dance rather than a door slam. Even Allstate admits they blink and bring back those otherwise ghosted by 'economic uncertainty.' As Sean Barry puts it, 'a no-go for that role at that time doesn’t mean they're not a fit for another.'
