Trump's Gaza Peace Plan: Now Featuring Hostage Body Hide & Seek

White House envoy Steve Witkoff is packing his bags for a diplomatic tour of the Middle East Sunday night to babysit the fragile Gaza peace deal, which so far scored a ceasefire, 20 freed Israeli hostages, and nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners strolling out. But don’t pop the champagne just yet: Hamas played ghost returning only 9 of 28 dead hostage bodies, claiming they’re on a scavenger hunt for the rest, while Netanyahu insists Hamas is just big-time lying. Meanwhile, Hamas demands a 'community support committee' to run Gaza and wants Israel to disappear completely. Amidst this chaos, Trump dropped a hotline call to Netanyahu mid-security briefing, assuring he’s 'working on it,' which translates to somewhere between 'maybe' and 'hold my diet Coke.' Witkoff's mission includes pushing for the international stabilization force in Gaza and jump-starting reconstruction in Rafah, hoping the border town becomes the Venice of a post-Hamas Gaza—minus the gondolas and flooding, hopefully.
