Sudan’s Famine Crisis Gets Side-Eye From Powerful Guys

In a power move that screams 'We swear we care,' the US, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and some other big wigs urged warring sides in Sudan to 'halt fighting and allow aid into famine-struck areas.' It’s basically telling two teenagers to stop brawling in a burning kitchen while mom brings the snacks. The famine is no joke, but these calls sound like the world's oldest delay tactic. If only sending aid was as easy as sending a passive-aggressive group chat message from Riyadh or Washington.
