Trump’s Zelensky Summit: Peace Deals and Jacket Drama

President Trump hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House, fresh from a Putin summit in Alaska, discussing peace talks with the usual blend of diplomacy and spectacle. Trump dubbed Europe the 'first line of defense,' hinting U.S. troops might tag along. He pushed for a trilateral summit with Putin, claiming 'I know [Zelensky], I know myself, and I believe Vladimir Putin wants it ended,' which might be an optimistic take on a guy demanding forever-sized territorial concessions. Meanwhile, the White House fretted if Zelensky's wardrobe nailed the dress code after last time. Because if you can’t fix wars, at least fix the jacket game.
