National Guard Showdown: GOP Troops Patrol DC, Mail Chaos Ensues

In a move that could double as a political standoff or a reality TV spin-off, Republican governors from Louisiana and Tennessee are sending hundreds of national guard troops to DC to assist in the president's so-called 'crime crackdown,' joining comrades from Mississippi, Ohio, West Virginia, and South Carolina. Meanwhile, Karoline Leavitt leaks that the administration plans to chat with Congress and state lawmakers just after Trump declared he'd nix mail-in ballots. Because nothing says 'democracy' like a national guard party in the capital with bipartisan confusion on the sidelines!
