In a Monday headline that reads like a crossover episode of every cop show ever, President Trump signed an order to bomb Memphis with National Guard troops, FBI, ATF, DEA, ICE, Homeland Security, and other alphabet soup agencies forming the Memphis Safe Task Force. Tennesseeās GOP Gov. Bill Lee eagerly nodded along, while Democrat Mayor Paul Young politely disagreed from the peanut gallery. Trump promises a 'replica' of his D.C. crime crackdown (because nothing says success like flooding a city with federal agents whose favorite pastime is paperwork). Chicagoās on deck, with St. Louis and New Orleans possibly getting invitations to Party of the Crimetoo. The whole saga was announced on Trump's favorite soapbox: Truth Social.
