Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois pledged to protect these legislative fugitives, turning Chicago into a surprise safe haven. Meanwhile, Donald Trump declared, 'Republicans are entitled to the five more seats they could pick up if congressional maps proposed by Texas Republicans are passed.' It appears some politicians are treating democracy like a game of dodgeball–duck, dodge, and claim victory!
