Trump Orders Spy Team to Sniff Out Foreign Food Price Fixing Because Clearly We Can Eat Our Way to Sovereignty
KEY POINTS
- •On December 7, 2025, President Trump ordered the Justice Department and FTC to investigate foreign control in the food supply.
- •Two of the Big Four meatpackers, JBS and National Beef, are owned by Brazilian firms, while Smithfield is controlled by China’s WH Group.
- •The administration also relaxed farmworker hiring rules and lifted tariffs on dozens of food products in October and November to lower costs.
In a move straight out of 'The Great Food Conspiracy Show,' President Trump’s December 2025 executive order has the Justice Department and FTC dusting fingerprints off Brazilian JBS and National Beef (owned by Marfrig, no less) plus China’s pork empire, Smithfield Foods (aka WH Group). This after admitting that American bacon and steak are really global collabs, like Kraft spending October letting cheaper foreign farmhands work, and November nixing tariffs on snacks and meats faster than you can say 'seriously, who’s actually making your grocery bill?' Expect task forces briefing Congress in six months, complete with legal threats if price-fixing is found. Meanwhile, voters keep thinking inflation is the headline act, not these bizarre international food family reunions.
