Trumpâs Law & Order: DC Edition, Now Featuring UK Drama
In what feels like the political version of a multi-season soap opera, the White House is sending federal law enforcement to "combat crime" in Washington DC for the next week. Meanwhile, VP JD Vance starts a UK trip set to stir up drama with British politicians, and Texas Republicans are filing lawsuits to chase Democratic lawmakers across state lines. In the spirit of spreading the chaos, Trump ups the ante by doubling the bounty on Venezuela's NicolĂĄs Maduro, accusing him of flooding the US with fentanyl. As if to remind us this isnât a covert sitcom, Israeli plans to take control of Gaza City and Trump stirring the global diplomatic pot keep the plot thick. Because, why not aim for a geopolitical season finale? Oh, and Trump summoned Intel's CEO to resign over supposed CCP ties, because nothing says business like a Twitter feud.
