Trump Orders Census, Congress Hits Snooze Button

In what feels like a game of 'Who’s Really Boss?', the head of the Census Bureau reminded staff that while the president called for a 'new' census, 'Congress, not Trump, has final say over the tally.' So much for presidential executive power—apparently, the census isn’t on Twitter for him to just swipe right on. It turns out the census remains immune to impulsive tweets, proving even democracy has a backup plan against executive fan fiction.
