TrumpRX: Medicare’s New Weight Loss Coke—Now in Pill Form!

In a twist messier than a TikTok diet challenge, the Trump administration is creeping towards a pharma bromance with Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk to make weight loss drugs like Wegovy and Zepbound cheaper and Medicare-eligible. Imagine Wegovy dropping to $149/month on TrumpRX (official whitehouse-tool-for-shedding-bills) while Zepbound flexes at $299. Oh, and remember the April 2025 sabotage of Biden’s $40B idea to cover these magic needles? Yeah, now Trump’s shopping that buffet again, aiming to cover these drugs for both Medicare and possibly Medicaid users. Half of obese seniors were already halfway in before this saga even began.
