Trump & EU Hug It Out: Tariffs Now With 15% Crunch
After four months of The Good, The Bad, and The Brexit, Donald Trump and the EU wrapped up their transatlantic soap opera with a 15% baseline tariff deal on exports to the US, ironically at a Scotland talk (because whiskey taxes arenāt enough). Ursula von der Leyen called it 'a big deal, a huge deal' promising 'stability' and 'predictability'āthe kind you get from knowing your dinner bill before you even order. This trade agreement stops the war of tariffs just in time to avoid turning markets into reality TV melodrama.
