Cutting Mental Health Budget: Because Who Needs Advocacy Anyway?

In a move surprising only to people who understand basic human decency, proposed HHS budget cuts would 'reduce funding of protection and advocacy programs for individuals with mental illness.' Because why support vulnerable populations when you can fund literally anything else? Apparently, the plan is to let these programs fend for themselves like free-range kale in a garden of budget neglect.
