McGruff Sniffs Cuts, Not Just Fake Pills Anymore

The venerable crime-barking icon, McGruff the Crime Dog, faces a new form of injustice: budget cuts. The National Crime Prevention Council isn’t buying the idea that his decades-long sniff test for fake pills should end. They remind us, 'McGruff's work that started in 1980 isn't over.' Apparently, fake pills didn’t get the memo, but Uncle Sam’s scissors sure did. Because apparently fighting crime is easy when you’ve got a dog, unless you cut the leash first.
