In a day of high tension and even higher stakes, NYPD officer Didarul Islam was tragically killed after a shooter opened fire at a building housing NFL headquarters and financial firms. The gunman then turned the gun on himself. Amidst this tragedy, U.S. and Chinese economic bigwigs landed in Stockholm for their latest trade negotiations, with Japan's chief negotiator Ryosei Akazawa proudly stating the deal 'guaranteed Japan would always get the lowest tariff rate on chips and pharmaceuticals.' Because nothing says international diplomacy like balancing deadly violence with tariff victories!
