Trump's tariffs on imports have officially kicked-in but there's a plot twist worthy of a soap opera: 'there is no clarification on rules for transshipment as yet,' according to Reuters. In other words, the trade policy equivalent of setting up a fence and then forgetting where you put the gate. It’s like telling travelers they must pay tolls but leaving out the toll booth locations. Clear as mud, folks. The tariffs are live, but the playbook is still some kind of diplomatic Choose Your Own Adventure.
