Not content with stuffing large dogs in cargo, he hacked a 50-seat Embraer jet down to 30 seats to give Labs like Maple and Willow legroom and leashes next to their humans. After snagging $776,000 on Shark Tank from Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, who apparently qualifies because he owns a 100-pound dog named Adora, RetrievAir plans to expand beyond six U.S. cities. Flights include bathroom pit stops every two hours for canine dignity plus treats, watered pets, and a flight attendant who doubles as a dog whisperer. You pay nearly $3,000 one-way from NYC to L.A., roughly half what rival BarkAir charges, but none of these pets get caged under the seat, because who even invented that idea?
