Kwik Trip Clinches Crown, Wawa & Buc-ee’s Left Snackless
In a thrilling showdown of America's favorite snack-palaces, Wisconsin's Kwik Trip zoomed ahead with an 84 score on the 2025 Customer Satisfaction Index, blowing past regional legends Wawa and Sheetz (82 points each), QuikTrip (80), and Buc-ee’s (a barely respectable 79). Despite the obvious naming confusion between QuikTrip and Kwik Trip, Kwik Trip flexed its star power by leaping six points since last year and proving that selling snacks can be community-building gold. With 8,601 survey respondents emphasizing mobile apps, endlessly convenient store hours, and food quality that now rivals low-key fast food joints, loyalty programs made users visit weekly instead of half as much. Prof Forrest Morgeson believes convenience stores have evolved from places you dread to go, to places people actually willingly visit. So if you thought gas stations only sold regrets and cheap coffee, think again—your midwest Kwik Trip might just be the social hub you never knew you craved.
