Trump’s TikTok Ban: Banned But Still Doing the TikTok Shuffle

While Joe Biden signed the law threatening to kick TikTok out by September 17th, it’s Donald Trump who’s acting like the world’s slowest bouncer, still struggling to cut a deal to keep TikTok legal. The @WhiteHouse TikTok account dropped its first video celebrating Trump’s accomplishments — a move that’s like banning junk food but then opening a cupcake shop next door. Trump’s TikTok saga has been postponed thrice due to feuds with Xi Jinping and tariff tantrums. Trump himself said on Truth Social, 'Why would I want to get rid of TikTok?' apparently forgetting he tried to ban it.
