UN’s Deep Sea Mining Talks: Diplomats Play Hide and Seek

The UN is supposed to handle deep-sea mining rules, but diplomats have basically turned it into a game of let’s 'leave all the important questions unanswered.' Meanwhile, the US threatens to swoop in and take control, proving once again that diplomacy means never having to say you're serious.
