The crown changed hands thanks to a Saudi budget airline, Flynas, snagging the 12,260th A320 on a Tuesday—because who doesn’t love midweek surprises? Boeing’s loss isn’t just about planes; it's about MCAS scandals scaring regulators, a $2.5 billion fine for misleading them, and a 2024 nightmare flight where bolts went missing mid-air on an Alaska Airlines 737 Max.
