Texas Gerrymanders Itself Five Seats Closer to Chaos

In a plot twist more twisted than a pretzel at a state fair, the Texas House just carved out a redistricting plan that hands Republicans FIVE extra seats — apparently on President Trump's suggestion, who called it a 'Big WIN' for Texas. Democrats, briefly playing hide-and-seek by fleeing the state, plan to grumble all the way to court. With 30 Republicans and 8 Democrats likely in the delegation, State Rep. Todd Hunter admits the map’s goal is to 'improve Republican political performance,' while Dems cry 'illegal and racially discriminatory map.' Fasten your seatbelts, Texas politics is bumpier than your uncle’s conspiracy rants!
