Texas Dems Play Hide-And-Seek To Dodge GOP Map Hack

More than 50 Texas Democrats pulled a Houdini Sunday, fleeing the state to dodge a GOP vote on a congressional map that could gift Republicans up to five seats. Quorum skipping isn’t new—these Dems "are not walking out on our responsibilities; we're walking out on a rigged system," said House Democratic Caucus Chair Gene Wu, accusing Abbott of "turning victims into political hostages" in Trump's name. Meanwhile, AG Ken Paxton threatened a real-life game of manhunt, demanding that cowardly Democrats be 'found, arrested, and brought back to the Capitol immediately.' Quorum drama meets Texas-sized political soap opera.
