What a blessing! The months-long recall crusade aimed at booting those "pro-Chinese" lawmakers has spectacularly failed in the self-governing island's legislature. "A months-long recall effort to oust lawmakers considered pro-Chinese has failed," proving that sometimes democracy is just really into plot twists. At least now, the islanders can enjoy the stability of their current crewâbecause as the article says, everything happens for a reason!
