Stripe’s AI and data boss Emily Glassberg Sands is on a PhD hiring spree that’s bigger than your cousin’s college debt, bragging about newbies with 'cutting-edge skills' who 'know the latest tools' like digital wizards fresh out of the lab. But here’s the twist: she’s having nightmares about who’ll actually show these brainiacs the ropes since AI is trying to replace entry-level jobs faster than you can say 'internship stipend.' Even Jerome Powell and AI apocalypse prophet Dario Amodei are chiming in about a future with half the junior jobs vaporized by bots. Meanwhile, Stripe is ghosting Business Insider, probably training bots to do that too.
