Ancient Spanish Jews Left Lamp Fragments, Not Yelp Reviews

Seventeen centuries after they last flickered, oil lamp fragments from Cástulo are illuminating a "previously unknown Jewish population" in southern Spain's late Roman world. Evidently, these lamps burned brighter in history than attention spans on Twitter, proving ancient Jewish communities had more staying power than your average viral TikTok trend.
