South Africa decided to dust off the ancient files and reopen the investigation into Steve Biko's death, which occurred a casual 48 years ago while he was in police custody. Yes, almost half a century later – which apparently is the new rush hour in justice timing. Biko, the legendary anti-apartheid leader who won’t stay quietly in the history books, is finally getting another spin on the case. Police custody in the 1970s was apparently problematic enough to revisit decades later as if true crime TV had nothing on real life.
