Sony is suing Tencent over 'Light of Motiram,' which Sony calls a 'slavish clone' of its Horizon games. Despite Sony's clear rejection to license its 'Horizon intellectual property,' Tencent allegedly pressed on with the remarkably similar robot animals and font. Sony says, 'unlawful copying of the protected audiovisual elements' demands an injunction immediately. Tencent, operating under names like 'Aurora Studios' and 'Polaris Quest,' ignored polite negotiations. Sony insists the game's withdrawal is necessary, but Tencent didnât comment. So, it's basically a game of legal Whac-A-Mole, just with robots and lawsuits.
