Meet the company's latest masterpiece in robotic eavesdropping: sensors that use sonar echoes to help robots understand their surroundings. Yes, it’s basically sonar for robots—because apparently, Wi-Fi signals just aren't enough to stalk our homes yet. No official release date, price, or snack detection feature announced, but soon your Roomba could ghost your couch like a jealous ex pinpointing where you hide chips. While humans rely on awkward eye contact for situational awareness, these machines will ping and echo their way through life like underwater bat-sonars on a determined quest to not bump into walls.
