GOP Plans Senate Speedrun, No Save Points Allowed

With no deal currently in the fridge, Republicans are cooking up a spicy plan to speed up Senate confirmations come September. They’re basically teasing, 'Without a deal in hand, Republicans say they may try to change Senate rules when they return in September to speed up the pace of confirmations.' Translation: why wait the normal pace when you can hit turbo and maybe break the Senate controller? Because who needs unanimous consent when you can just change the game rules, right?
