Hackers Now Carjack Your Car With Just One Click

Security researcher Eaton Zveare revealed a glitch in a carmaker's centralized dealer portal so gaping it allowed "vast access to customer and vehicle data." Apparently, he could "remotely take over a customerâs account and unlock their cars," proving once again, the only lock that works is the one you imagine. The dealershipâs digital front door was left so wide open, it's a wonder the cars werenât driving themselves off the lot.
