Kazakhstan Joins Abraham Accords: Because Why Not, Trump Wants a Club
Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced Thursday he'll join the Abraham Accords, the U.S.-led 'club' aimed at making Israel look less like the popular kid everyone avoids during Gaza war fallout. Meeting Trump and Netanyahu in D.C., Tokayev, who already enjoys 30 years of zero-steam diplomatic relations with Israel, decided to upgrade from 'just acquaintances' to 'exclusive LinkedIn connections.' This move coincides with Kazakhstan signing a deal on critical minerals with the U.S., basically saying 'Hey Washington, we're cool.' Meanwhile, Trump's bigger dream remains Saudi Arabia joining the squad on Nov 18 — because nothing screams peace like negotiating with the Middle East's diplomatic soap opera's main cast.
