40 Democrats Beg Trump: Stop Annexation, Save Our Abraham Accords

In a bipartisan plot twist seemingly lifted from a sitcom, over 40 Democratic senators (all but Sen. John Fetterman, who decided to ghost the party) penned a letter to President Trump, urging him – yes, Trump – to 'reinforce' his stance against Israel annexing the West Bank. This plea dropped fresh off the Gaza ceasefire, reminding us all that Trump's 20-point Gaza peace plan slipped the annexation memo completely. The letter warned that Israeli annexations could sabotage the Abraham Accords, Trump's first-term pride and joy, with UAE and Arab leagues breathing down his neck since September. Trump, who diplomatically blocked annexation during a high-powered Sept meeting with Arabian leaders (Saudi, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan – basically a UN potluck), now faces a letter asking him to basically remember he already promised to do that. Senator John Fetterman’s absence adds a spicy dash of political theater to this episode.
