The University of Oklahoma's program that trains much-needed mental health pros for rural schools is facing a federal grant axe. Because, apparently, nothing says helping kids like cutting mental health funding. One official lamented it's a 'chopping block' moment for resources that support rural students' well-being. It's like cancelling firefighting lessons during a forest fire—genius strategy for sure.
