As the economy fries our budgets, diners aren’t just tightening their belts, they’re glued to their favorite fast-food joints like Chick-fil-A and McDonald’s. According to InMarket, Chick-fil-A scored a loyalty bonanza with a 'fidelity score' of 267, while McDonald’s clings on at 164. Meanwhile, fast-casual spots like Shake Shack tried tempting us with $1 sodas and $10 burger bonuses, scoring a 327 on loyalty. But as analyst Asit Sharma said, 'Even affluent spenders feel the pinch,' leading everyone to downgrade their gourmet dreams to convenient grease fixes.
