On a carefree Friday, Stellantis, the parental control monster over Ram trucks, announced it’s calling off the lonesome dream of battery-electric full-size pickups, citing poor demand—as if anyone really needed a giant silent truck insulting gas prices and tradition at once. Despite 2024 being the Era of 'Electric Everything,' Stellantis decided the full-size EV truck market was about as popular as a VHS at a streaming party. They didn’t announce fancy timelines, just a firm exit from the niche where bigger batteries meet smaller respect. Turns out full-size electric truck fans are either hiding or still buffering their enthusiasm.
