In what can only be described as a security snooze, Poland activated its 'entire target detection system' and even launched a Mi-24 helicopter patrol during a Russian drone incursion—only to stand down by midnight after seeing 'nothing out of the ordinary.' Come sunrise, Gen. Dariusz Malinowski revealed the stealthy drone had crashed and exploded 70 miles from the border in Osiny. Despite fancy air defenses, the drone, equipped with a Chinese engine and a 'self-destructive warhead,' evaded detection by flying 'very low.' Cue Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz calling it a 'provocation against NATO.'
