In a stunningly woke courtroom of public opinion, Pittsburgh parents and child safety groups unleashed fiery critiques against the Pirates for what they call 'deeply irresponsible' tactics that emotionally scar little fans too young to handle the team's chronic failures. As one parent lamented in Pittsburgh, luring kids into a lifetime of disappointment might be the only thing the Pirates are marketing better than baseball. Child safety experts argue the Piratesâ on-field product is more damaging than a basement meme and less nurturing than a WWE swinging chair. Kids deserve betterâor at least therapy funding.
