Wisconsin’s New Water Park: Flood Edition 2025
Wisconsin apparently decided it needed a spontaneous swimming pool, dropping a foot of rain in some places and smashing records with 5.74 inches in hours. Milwaukee's mayor Cavalier Johnson reports 'major property damage' while firefighters heroically 'pulled dozens of people out of cars trapped in flood water.' The Wisconsin State Fair got the not-so-fun early closure treatment thanks to 'some of which may be significant' flash flooding warning from the National Weather Service. Oh, and the Milwaukee River said, 'Hold my beer' with a record high 11.19 feet crest.
