Kim Deal, the Pixies alum known for making indie rock sound like a rollercoaster of feelings, announced she’s releasing her new album 'Triste' on October 17. True to form, it’s coming out on her own label, Hideous Human Records—because who doesn’t want to remind us humans we're 'hideous' while dropping tunes? Deal’s back with some new sadness-themed jams, clearly proving that even legends can’t escape the cycle of creating art and self-deprecation. In Deal’s own words, the album resonates with her usual vibe, reminding us all that life’s a bumpy ride—and so is her music.
