Minneapolis School Shooting: Mass, Mayhem & Memorial Hugs
On August 27, 2025, Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis became the unexpected epicenter of tragedy when two children, Fletcher Merkel (8) and Harper Moyski (10), were killed during Mass. Fletcher, fond of fishing, cooking, and sports paperwork approval, was commemorated by Jesse Merkel urging folks to hug their kids extra since 'a coward' ripped Fletcher's 'potential young man' credentials away prematurely. Meanwhile, Michael Moyski and Jackie Flavin, mourning Harper's joyful spirit and shattered family vibes, spotlighted an equally grief-stricken younger sibling stuck inheriting both sorrow and the family Netflix password. Meanwhile, 18 other worshippers found out being in church during a school shooting is definitely not a recommended spiritual practice.
