OpenAI dropped Sora 2 this week, a shiny app letting you star in AI videos that can fake your face, voice, and probably your dignity. Vinod Khosla, the billionaire investor who apparently bought a VIP pass to the AI revolution, called skeptical critics 'tunnel vision creatives' on X. These same ā€˜creatives’ had branded Sora’s videos as 'AI slop' — basically brain rot that humans can now binge like digital rotisserie chicken. While Sora soared to Apple App Store’s #1 spot faster than a midnight snack disappears, its deepfake powers sent Hollywood into a copyright tizzy, prompting Sam Altman to flinch and promise 'more granular control' over your stolen digital likeness. Because why not add legal drama to your TikTok deepfake party?
