Nvidia’s RTX 5080 upgrade for GeForce Now is done, which means the cloud gaming titan is now gracing Linux peasants and Fire TV owners with their very own native apps. For about a year, these scrappy Linux gamers had to MacGyver their way through unofficial apps or browser hacks just to pretend they belonged. Soon, Ubuntu 24.04+ users will get a beta—no more praying to the software gods. Meanwhile, Fire TV fans can dust off their remotes. Plus, Nvidia’s throwing in flight control support, because why settle for gaming when you can apparently pilot a cloud too?
