Nothing Phone 3 Snaps Stock Photos, Fools No One
In August 2025, tech brand Nothing boldly promoted the Phone 3 by passing off photogenic stock photos rented from the Stills marketplace, instead of actual phone snaps. A stealthy anonymous photographer roasted them anonymously to The Verge, which confirmed via sneaky EXIF data—from 2023, no less—that these pics were taken before the Phone 3 even existed! This exposé exposes Nothing's pixel theft at the cost of seriously shading their 'camera capabilities,' reminding us all that buying photo licenses beats fumbling with a new phone emulator any day.
